Tiffany & Elgin wanted to elope in Joshua Tree, where they first realized they were in love. Simply Perfect Images and I were only too happy to oblige!
Around Christmas, Tiffany and Elgin decided they wanted to get married on their one year dating anniversary in February. They wanted to elope in Joshua Tree, the place where they realized that they had fallen in love. They wanted to elope in Joshua Tree to get away from all the pomp and circumstance of a big wedding. Something simple and private suited them much better.
Tiffany is a very organized person, but she trusts her gut even above her logic. So when she saw that Alan of Simply Perfect Images and I were available on their anniversary, she booked their Joshua Tree elopement right online without even a consultation. She just knew.
The three of us chatted on the phone a few weeks before the ceremony to iron out details. We went over the weather because a huge storm was scheduled to finish the day before. On wedding day, the weather report indicated light right that day through early afternoon. Tiffany and Elgin assured me they are adventurous people and ready for whatever the universe threw our way. This is an excellent attitude to have if you want to elope in Joshua Tree or anywhere in the desert. The desert can have sudden and unpredictable weather changes, especially in the winter.
On elopement day, the sky above Joshua Tree was gorgeous! Sure, it was crazy cold and we all tried to restore feeling to our toes and fingers, but I think the end result was well worth it.
